Atwood Lake is a reservoir located in Tuscarawas and Carroll counties in the state of Ohio in the United States. It was created in 1936 by the construction of a dam on the Little Muskingum River. The lake has a surface area of 1,540 acres and a shoreline of 28 miles, making it one of the largest lakes in Ohio. It is a popular destination for boating, fishing, hiking, and camping, and is home to a variety of fish species including bass, walleye, catfish, and crappie. The Atwood Lake Park offers camping, cabins, hiking and equestrian trails, and a variety of water activities.
